The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Jammu and Kashmir has published two separate public notices releasing the Anganwadi Worker (Sangini) and Anganwadi Helper (Shayika) selection lists for Poshan Project Boniyar and Poshan Project Narwaw, both falling under Baramulla district. The lists have been prepared as per the criteria laid down in Government Order No. 103-JK(SWD) of 2023 dated 28-04-2023, with approval conveyed by the Mission Director, Poshan, J&K, Srinagar. Both notices have been released on 25 September 2026 and contain AWC-wise merit lists with candidate names, qualifications, marks obtained, percentage and total merit score.
Important Note: Two things candidates must act on immediately. First, the appeal window for the Poshan Project Boniyar (Shayika/Helper) list has already closed (deadline was 24 September 2026 at 4:00 PM). No appeal against the Boniyar list will be entertained now. Second, the appeal window for the Poshan Project Narwaw (Sangini/Worker) list is still open and closes on 3 October 2026 at 4:00 PM. Any candidate wishing to appeal against the Narwaw selection must file their appeal in person at the concerned office before this deadline.

How the Merit Score Is Calculated
The merit score in these lists is calculated as follows:

- The Boniyar list is described as a tentative selection list. The Narwaw notice publishes both a full AWC-wise merit list (Annexure-A) and the provisional selection list (Annexure-B).
- Both notices direct publication in two or three leading newspapers of the Kashmir Valley and pasting at prominent public places (Masjid, School, Panchayat Ghar) with photographic evidence.
- The notices are also to be uploaded on the NIC Baramulla district website and the Poshan Mission Directorate website.
- Candidates should verify their name, marks and merit position carefully against the official notice before filing any appeal.
