The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer, has published two new updates for the Assistant Professor (College Education Department) Competitive Exam 2025 on 23 September 2026. For History, RPSC has released the result preamble along with category-wise cut off marks and the list of candidates provisionally qualified for the interview. For Geography, the Commission has issued a list of disqualified candidates. Both notices are available as PDFs on the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates who took the RPSC Assistant Professor exam in either subject can check their status using their roll number through the direct links below.
Important Note: Three things candidates should keep in mind. First, the History result is purely provisional. Appearing in the list means you are eligible for the next stage, not that you have been selected. Second, provisionally qualified candidates usually have to submit a Detailed Application Form with supporting documents by a fixed deadline, so read the History notice carefully and don’t miss the date. Third, if your roll number appears in the Geography disqualified list, check the official PDF for the reason and any instructions given by the Commission.

RPSC Assistant Professor History Result 2026
The History notice contains three parts: a preamble explaining how the result was prepared, category-wise cut off marks, and the roll numbers of candidates declared provisionally successful for the interview. Candidates were shortlisted based on their marks in the written (objective type) exam, the reservation rules and the number of advertised posts.
What “Provisionally Qualified” Means
A candidate’s name in the History list is subject to verification of eligibility, educational qualifications, category, age and all other conditions given in the advertisement. If any detail in the application is found incorrect during document verification, RPSC can cancel the candidature at any stage.
RPSC Assistant Professor History Cut Off Marks 2026
The category-wise cut off marks for History are published in the official result PDF. RPSC generally lists separate cut offs for General, OBC, MBC, EWS, SC and ST, with further sub-categories such as General, Widow (WD), Divorcee (DV) and Women (WE) in each. Two terms commonly used in RPSC cut off tables are:
- ALL: all candidates in that category who secured the minimum qualifying marks under the service rules have been declared qualified.
- N.A.: no candidate was available in that category who met the minimum qualifying marks.
Check the category-wise cut off table in the History PDF to see how close your score was to the qualifying marks.
RPSC Assistant Professor Geography Disqualified Candidates List 2026
For Geography, RPSC has published a list of candidates whose candidature has been declared disqualified. Such lists are generally issued after the Commission scrutinises candidates’ eligibility and documents against the conditions in the advertisement. The PDF lists the affected roll numbers. Candidates who appeared for the Geography paper should check this list carefully and follow any instructions the Commission has given in the notice.
