The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), on behalf of the Police Headquarters, Home (Police) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, has invited online applications for 507 posts of Subedar and Sub Inspector across seven cadres. The online application window is open from 9 to 23 September 2026, with the Preliminary Examination scheduled for 28 October 2026.

Important – Read Before You Apply: Three things to keep in mind before applying. First, this recruitment covers seven distinct cadres – Subedar, Sub Inspector (Special Armed Force), Sub Inspector (District Police Force), Sub Inspector (Arms), Sub Inspector (Photo), Sub Inspector (Questioned Documents), and Sub Inspector (Finger Print) – each with different qualification requirements, so check the eligibility for your specific post carefully. Second, physical standards including height, chest measurement and vision are mandatory and strictly checked – review these requirements before applying. Third, separate merit lists are prepared for non-technical and technical posts, and only candidates equal to 10 times the advertised vacancies per category are called for the Main Examination, so the Preliminary stage is highly competitive.
